Fun Drive - 6 March - Saturday

Guys.

I am doing a fun drive on coming Saturday 6 March. It starts from Nahel town near Sweihan at 1.30 PM and will end around 6.30 PM at the Al Ain Airport.

This is with UAE Offroaders and we want to make to invite FJ UAE to be a part of this in the interest of establishing a connection with the two clubs.

I call on you guys to please regester for it and I guarentee you all a fun afternoon. There are some really nice dunes in the Nahel area and things only get better as you progress towards the aiport.

it was a blast ....nine cars and 65 Km over some really great terrain.

Then CHAZ remember in desert you wont c Jevo driving, you'll find him flying over dunes, ofcourse sometime he touches the send with his wheels, well it aint his fault,
just cant help it, so make sure u will have your stage 5 icon suspensions and engine twin turbo charged installed, OR you just add some redbull in your tank, to give
your FJ, Wiiiiings, then you may fly side by his side

any idea when you'll have ur ride back Simon? I miss flying following you

As Mahmoud mentioned, that we didnt have any FJ Drive this ENTIRE season...offcourse a lot of us being very busy with a lot of other things, im sure we can arrange for an FJ Drive this weekend..

Well I've been out loads this season.

Seriously hope they put a 2010 engine in my car and then you boys will never catch me. While the car has been with Al Futtaim for the last month or so they also checked my chassis alignment for bends and twists etc. Everything was A - OK there which was a surprise all things considering. Just shows what good suspension correctly set up will do.... Not only can you go faster but your car does not get all bent up!!!

Reckon I will have the car back in about another 2-3 weeks I hope. It has taken 25 days alone to get a new engine from Japan. I had to fight like crazy to get it done under warranty because of the mods to my car. The fact it is being done for free is the only good thing about this whole ordeal!

Will let you all know when the car is on the road again.

As for the hot season... so what? I will still be out!

Sorry, I know am d1 whos suggesting for pure fj trip, but myself cant join, u know how my situation is changed minhall, may b once in a month or less ill get the chance,

ofcourse its more fun n chilling now but anyway as simon said, even if its hot, who cares, remember our first trip??? recovering my FJ with at 38 C...

What is happening here ??? This was my thread for a teip and look where it is going.

When do you boys wanna go out.

Why don't you bite the bullet and drop by Abu dhabi for a nice healthy serving of fun.

We can start at Al Khatim on the Abu Dhabi Al Ain Road and take it all teh way thru Sweihan to end by teh Sevens Stadium near Dubai.

What do you all have to say about that ????

If you guys decide to have a wadi drive then count me in.
Something nice and easy with maybe a barbecue where even the offroading virgins can have a good time. Since FJUAE was set up many people have left the country, some have sold their FJs and moved to something else and some are new to the whole FJ scene.
It would be a great way to meet old faces and new alike.

Im up for the Wadi trip with the BBQing...we could possibly say goodbye to the good weather and an unstarted FJ season with a nice BBQ...at least with can end it with a BBQ if didnt start it in the first place...

I was out at Wadi Tayyibah last weekend and it was amazing...trust me...
Offcourse, i would like to try out new places, and if there is anyone else open to wadis...no issues...!!

As a matter of fact me and some others might be heading to Dubai this Friday to take up an invite from Almost 4x4 for a nicle little drive somewhere around Sharjah.

Jevo ....would love to see you in that Lancer ... is it PINK !!! maybe with spacers and some agressive rubber you might even make it to the top of Big Red...BTW a Yaris was spotted ther some time ago by me!!

Have fun guys, i can't wait to get back in the desert - but seriously not going out while my suspension is as it is...shagged is the term i think I'm looking for.

I am financing something for hobby #1 at the moment, then in the next month or two i shall be down at Mebar having an Icon set-up installed - can't wait!
